SWS Performance Consultancy currently provides the Great Britain bobsleigh team with their Fitness Development Coach, bringing a team of eight bobsleigh Olympic athletes up to speed in their physical development with their sights firmly set on the Winter Olympics in Beijing, China in 2022. “We’re looking to go to this Games not as participants but as real medal contenders and we’re all extremely focused and willing to do whatever we need to do to get there.”

In this role, the SWS consultant was part of Operation Bravo and deployed to the Garamba National Park in the DRC. In this role, the SWS consultant took up residence with local wildlife park rangers to build a gym in the a remote area of the jungle. SWS worked daily with the park rangers in order to train them to an intense level of physical strength and performance, giving them the fitness and resilience to carry out their duties as part of their vital anti-poaching mission.

Callum was not only trained to an extreme level of fitness but was also mentored to think, breathe and move like an elite soldier. Callum Turner has since been nominated for a BAFTA award for his role as Sean Emery.
